Welcome to Surmount Admissions

Admissions in Surmount International School are made on the basis of Common Aptitude Analysis, i.e., Entrance Test. Admissions are finalized by the education committee comprising members of different streams/forte (Science, Commerce, Arts, Councilors, Psychologists) after taking due cognizance of the merit list which is drawn on the basis of performance in the aptitude analysis and those who qualify are asked to appear for an interaction with an Education Committee.


Parents of the children who are offered admission are expected to confirm their acceptance within 10 working days, accompanied by payment as per the school prospectus.

Procedure

Registration Process & Required Documents

Registration Process

  • Registration forms available Monday–Saturday at school's Administration office (Senior & Junior School), 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
  • Payment via Cash/Pay Order in favor of Surmount International School, Gorakhpur.
  • Dates for interaction for classes I to IX announced at time of registration.
  • Admission to Class XI in Science and Commerce is open after entrance exam.

Documents Required at Time of Registration

  1. Self-attested copy of Birth Certificate issued by Municipal Corporation/Competent Authority.
  2. Self-attested copy of Aadhaar Card of child and parents.
  3. Self-attested copy of proof of residence (Latest Electricity Bill/Ration Card/Telephone Bill/Passport).
  4. Two passport sized photographs (recent) of Parents/Guardian and Child.

Final Admission Documents

  • Proof of residential address (Passport/Registered Lease Deed/Paid Electricity Bill/Electoral Card)
  • In case of rental accommodation: affidavit on stamp paper
  • Certificate of Medical wellbeing by Registered Medical Practitioner
  • Vaccination history report by Registered Medical Practitioner
  • Blood Group Report
  • Proof of Nationality: PAN Card or Passport of both parents
  • Proof of Identity: UID/Passport/License (any one) of both parents
  • Highest qualification degree of both parents (optional)
  • Transfer Cases: Transfer certificate from previous institution (required from KG onwards)
